The FP0H is 8 times faster than conventional models and needs only 10ns per basic instruction (up to 10k steps). With max. 64k steps, the program capacity is 2 times larger than conventional models. The shared memory can be allocated to program and data registers via a system register. This way, it is possible to allocate for example 64k words to the data registers when there are large amounts of log data or 64k steps to the program memory when there is a large number of programs. Numerous add-on cassettes, e.g. communication cassettes for RS232, RS422, RS485 and Ethernet communication and function cassettes for analog I/Os, thermocouple, RTD, pulse I/O etc., make the FP-X even more flexible, enabling users to configure the controller to suit their application needs. Panasonic FP7 is Equipped with a large memory capacity (up to 220k program steps or up to 500k data words) and a high-speed processor (11ns/step).Local & remote connectivity.The standard CPU boards with Ethernet interface offer connectivity without limits, from remote programming to monitoring and data logging to FTP server, MEWTOCOL (client/server), EtherNet/IP and Modbus TCP. Together with the Mini-USB and the RS232C port, it is possible to connect up to 272 devices.
